Today
with Ollie and Roy was a very strange day. Tides were very weak and I just
couldn’t get on the Snook bite like we wanted. The mission was to catch a slot
Snook for Roy to eat. I’m pretty much Catch and Release but Roy had twisted my
arm to try and get him a slot Snook as he has never eaten a Snook before. Today
the Snook bite was way off for us and we only ended up with a handful of Snook
the largest being 27 ½ inches. Serves us right trying to break the catch &
release policy. On the upside Ollie did get a decent Sea Trout.
