Andrew did well braving 20 gusting to 25 mph winds to get Snook, Jacks and Moonfish on fly.

Ryan braved some adverse conditions to get this nice Snook. Went looking for bigger quarry but only found medium size Jacks, a smaller Snook and a flounder.

Christmas came early this year for Captain Q. Landed this really nice Permit on fly on a 7/8 weight outfit.

Today went after Bonitos for the freezer for shark bait, didn’t see the first Bonito but the Blackfin Tunas were kind enough to pick up the slack. I suppose the sharks are getting caviar this winter!

Captain Q getting to catch a few Snook for a change. The big girls will be leaving the inlets soon, they will definitely be missed.

Mrs. Captain Q landed this nice size Tarpon all by herself, Mrs. Captain Q weighs less than this Tarpon!

Fishing Report -- 06-17-17

The Tarpon we found today were not cooperating for Josh & Neil. The Albies on fly and light spin tackle cooperated nicely. Marine biologists should breed some Tarpon with a little Albie DNA in them.

Fishing Report -- 06-10-17

Rich and Brian took on Tarpon and Albies today. Rich jumped a Tarpon on fly and Brian fought his Tarpon to the boat on spin tackle, a mere 1 hour and 20 minute battle. Rich and Brian caught Albies on fly and spin tackle. Rich also go a Snook and a few Jacks on fly (we didn’t do well in getting pictures today!)

Fishing Report -- 05-28-17

Captain Q and 1^st mate enjoyed beautiful day on the water. Mission was Tarpon, saw lots of fish but only one bite for Sherry. Got 3 jumps out of a very large Tarpon but that was it. Caught some Snook and Sherry got a nice Jack.

Found Tarpon today with Uriah and Jimmy but no hookup. They did land Snook, Blackfin tuna and False Albacore. This the beginning of the Albie season, they’ll be getting bigger and more plentiful.
