Too windy for the ocean today, no big Snook but Bob got a bunch of these guys on fly and bait.

Fishing Report -- 02-28-22

Mike was fortunate to get a break in the weather today amongst some nasty windy days. Fly fishing was tough but Mike stuck with it catching Jacks and finally a shark on fly. Sharks on fly this season have been very tough with this being the first on fly to the boat this season. Not quite sure why the reluctance to hit the fly this season, hopefully they’ll be more cooperative going forward.

Amy and Tony had a decent Snook bite in the morning and kept busy on Jacks the rest of the day, Amy getting her first saltwater fish on fly (in the picture if you look carefully you’ll see Tony has a Jack on the spinning rod too.)

Tony and Ed kept busy today with tons of Jacks on fly and spin gear. Finished the day with each of them getting a shark on conventional gear.
