It’s
been a while since I posted a report. It’s amazing how quickly time passes,
seems to pass quicker and quicker every year. This report is a combination of the
fishing trips since summer. My boat was in for some repairs and I ended up
missing most of the mullet run this year. Fishing slows somewhat after the
mullet run as we go into winter. This winter has had a very slow start with
very warm temperatures. We need the colder temperatures to push the winter
species down for us. Only over the past week or so have we finally started to
get some cold weather. I’ve started to see Bluefish and Jacks out on the beach
and the Spinner sharks have started to show in decent numbers. Below are some
pictures from recent trips. Looking forward to the real winter fishing getting
going here now.
